This is a dual purpose tea! If you are struggling with a sore throat, drink this tea with some local honey to help sooth and speed up recovery. If you you are struggling with loose stools (diarrhea), drink this tea to help soothe your digestive track and firm those stools up and replenish nutrients in your system. I made this originally for my father, after an illness caused him to loose his voice and experience pain while swallowing. This helped him out. Later on I was able to confirm that this tea also works for bowel problems, when someone in my household got food poisoning.
All of our teas are made from hand-grown, hand-harvested, and hand-dried herbs. The ingredients with an *astricks* are grown on our small organic farm! All herbal teas should be steeped for 5-10 minutes to ensure full medicinal benefits, using hot water around 190 degrees. This is sold as a loose leaf tea, for steeping with a metal strainer or paper tea bags (also available for sale on our site). One ounce of herbal teal will make between 10-15, 6-ounce cups of tea.
